Lance founded Gidel & Kocal over 40 years ago, creating a commercial construction company that delivers high quality construction and tenant improvements with a personal touch. To this day Lance remains involved in overseeing the success of every project. He continues to be involved in projects ranging from small tenant improvement projects to ground-up new construction of 20,000 to 50,000 sf retail/commercial buildings on multi-acre lots.

From project managers to laborers, he’s created a tight-knit group of professionals, each reflecting his own sense of professional zeal. The complete satisfaction of our clients has been Lance’s goal since day one.

Lance is also a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) for whom he regularly teaches Design and Operation of Building Systems I and II classes. Drawing on his 6 years of experience as a teacher prior to forming Gidel & Kocal Construction, he has organized and presented numerous seminars over the last 35 years for BOMA.

In his free time, he enjoys golfing, target shooting, and spending time with his dog, Mia.
